Coco's Heart Academy (Dog Lovers K-8)
Do you love dogs? Would you like to learn more about a wonderful group that works to rescue dogs and find them loving, forever homes? Join Josie Bersch, Jill Demco, Megan McEnaney, Theresa Hulit and Caroline Kinne for an afternoon of fun and service! Coco's Heart Academy will come to Saint Ambrose to give a 30-minute presentation about dog rescue and ways you can help. One or two adorable puppies will come too! Students will make dog toys and blankets to donate to Coco's Heart. Event will take place on Monday, May 13, 2019, from 4:00-5:15PM. $25 per student.

Commemorative Air Force Museum Tour
Do you love history? Tour the Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00AM. The CAF MN is home to six military aircraft, motor pool vehicles and a unique collection of World War II artifacts. The hangar and museum are located near an active runway, so there's always something interesting happening just outside their door! $20.00 per student. Books+Art+You=Fun with 3rd Grade Teachers
Come and join the Saint Ambrose 3rd Grade Teachers on a Book Club Adventure! Students will meet in Mrs. Madigan's classroom from 4:00-4:45PM to read "Crenshaw" by Katherine Applegate on the following dates: Monday, May 20th, Wednesday, May 22nd, Tuesday, May 28th and Tuesday, June 4th. Books and snacks will be provided during each session. The group will then meet at the Minneapolis Institute of Art on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, from 12:00-2:00 PM. Teachers and students will enjoy a picnic lunch followed by a tour of the art related to the book. Attendees should plan to pack a sack lunch.
